Our Internet has been down for several days so we apologies for not posting anything recently. We've had a busy but fun weekend so we will add some pictures and posts about everything over the next few days...I suppose one could argue that Laos is full of potential addictions. Historically, Laos produced massive amounts of opium which created addictions around the world. More recently, backpackers have become addicted to the relaxed and friendly attitude of Laotians. Our little developing addiction is fairly innocent but has definitely been habit-forming--It's the little massage/spa five minutes from our house, which we've been visiting at least two times a week since we've arrived in Vientiane. On Saturday, we even got a discount. I think it's because of my amazing Lao but Beth rightly points out that the employees there have started to recognize us as regulars. So far we've tried the traditional Lao massage, the foot massage, and the head and shoulders massages. And, when you're muscles have completely melted, they give you a cup of tea and fruit. I even like the little outfits. To experience the nirvana induced by a Lao massage you'll have to come visit us.
